A MESSAGE WITH A MISSION // Photo & videoDuring our initial vision meeting with the leaders and pastors of Refinery Church, they shared their heart and passion for people.
They wanted to see the warm, welcoming environment that they try to create across their multiple campuses in the Central Valley — to capture the essence of a space where anyone can come, free of judgment or worry, and experience total love and acceptance.
Eric and I helped the team design an outline based on their vision, and then scheduled shoots to execute that plan.
During the span of a few weeks,
we traveled to Refinery’s different locations and captured behind-the-scenes photos and b-roll video of their services. We also filmed a handful of interviews from members sharing about their experiences within the community and how it has changed their lives for the better.
We documented all aspects of the campuses — from the signs and architecture, to the worship through live music, to the interactions between friends and family, to their hospitality elements such as their very own modern café, to their children’s ministry, to the messages of hope shared from the front, and beyond!
All together we created engaging photo and video content that would magnify the vision and mission of the church and draw people to come and hear the good news!
