We took a trip to the bay area in California to shoot Aubrey’s senior portraits. She wanted to capture an artistic and vintage aesthetic in her photos, and she wanted to showcase some of her favorites spots in the city. We shot these portrait family photos in the family home and backyard of the Anderson family. We visited them around sunset, and made our way into their backyard to capture stunning family photos in the golden summer light.

We took Megan’s senior portraits at the old Fresno Courthouse above Millerton Lake, just outside the City of Fresno. The scene was epic and expansive and full of life, and the pictures we we are able to get were some of our favorites from this location. After their baby was first taken home from the hospital, the Reagans booked their first photo session as a family. We came over to the place they felt most comfortable to take their newborn photos: in their own home. The shoot was relaxed, peaceful, and beautiful.

Because we live so close to Yosemite National Park, it makes it easy to take a quick trip there for some incredible couple photos. The valley and the highlands have such amazing landmark spots for shooting beautiful portraits, and we’re so fond of the experience of shooting in this area.

In Salem, Oregon, we shot senior portraits for Trinity, a classical pianists who wanted to capture her passion in her photos. We took photos of her sitting in front of her grand piano as she played beautiful  music, and we ventured outside to take more dreamy portraits in the autumn sunlight.

We took Evie and Collin’s engagement photos in the winter wonderland of Shaver Lake, California. Their shoot was beautiful and adventurous as we did our best to keep warm and dry, and we were thrilled that the forest-scape was blanketed in snow.
