The aroma of freshly ground coffee wafts through the air, and the sounds of life awaken a new energy in you. Murmuring voices fill the room, and an undercurrent of a smooth bass riff has you unconsciously tapping your foot along with the beat.
A friendly glow highlights art pieces gracing the walls and trendy decor adorning floating shelves. Everyone seems to be happy here, and suddenly the world gets a little brighter as the barista behind the counter asks with a kind smile, “Hey, what sounds good today?”

Coffee shops have become comforting beacons of connection in today’s world — a common space bringing all types of people together. This has been our experience with one of our favorite little shops, Hi-Top (yes, like the shoes — so cool, right?).
We’ve spent countless hours of our lives tucked away here, working, talking, and enjoying incredible coffee. We’ve met wonderful friends here. It’s become a beautiful part of the Fresno community, and we had such a blast getting to support their business through storytelling.
We captured the coffee roasting process, hearing about their passion behind the craft. We interviewed team members about their stories and journeys. We documented their food-creation process. Ultimately, we created content that we hope will serve the folks at Hi-Top well and give them a renewed sense of accomplishment in their dream come to life.
