In the sunset of the 20th century, Caruthers farmers Mark and Kimberly Sorensen embarked on two new journeys together. The first was the start of their family, and the second was the inception of their now-renowned blueberry business.
For Mark and Kim, the significance of these two events was undeniable and inseparable. Therefore, they named their new blueberry business after their three young beloved daughters.
Mark started out as a fifth-generation raisin farmer before the pair ventured out into the uncharted territory of blueberries. After discovering unique ways to grow the berries in order to refine their taste, the delicious fruit instantly became a hit.
Since then, their business has expanded significantly, and their berries are widely known for their superior quality and memorable candy-like flavor. As their girls have grown, so has their team as newlywed husbands quickly took up roles within the family business.
Triple Delight supplies blueberries to chefs from some of the finest restaurants in the San Fransisco Bay Area, Napa Valley, and Central California. Several Michelin-Star chefs exclusively use Triple Delight’s fruit in recipes, requiring only the best for their creations.

How we told this story
To effectively tell this story and give Triple Delight Blueberries a powerful voice to connect with their ideal clients, Eric and I followed the process of the local berries from farm to table.
We started off by documenting their work at their farm in Caruthers, California. We focused on the berries as they grow ripe on the vine, and the family values that they take pride in. Additionally, we captured the in-depth interviews of the Sorensens for the video content.
We also have traveled to their home base in Half Moon Bay, where they operate out of every year during blueberry season. We followed them to a bustling market in San Francisco, creating content as they interacted with loyal customers and friends forged over the years. We also documented their family traditions, such as post-market dinners and backyard games.
We told the story of a business focused on quality and integrity from start to finish. It was a joy to work with this family to highlight their hard work and thriving business, and we can’t wait to see where their beautiful legacy takes them.
